POS Software Engineer

Sales Executive

Position: Sales Executive
Division: US Sales – West Region
Reports To: Director of Sales

Description:
Supports development of, executes and meets quota on a North American – West Region sales plan for Busy Life Software initially selling the QwikCart™ product line within the Grocery and Food Industry segments; Once established continue quarter over quarter growth by developing new sales in the NAM west region selling QwikCart™ solutions and future mobile software applications cross industry within the NAM west region.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Assist in capturing NAM – West Region market research
  • Assist in establishing the direct and indirect sales strategy
  • Work with the Director of Sales and CEO to develop marquee customer plans within the NAM – West Region
  • Assist in establishing marketing concepts and initiatives – first year within NAM – West Region
  • Work with the Director of Sales and CEO first year to establish 18 month sales targets
  • Assist in developing the FY 2011 and FY2012 Sales Plan
  • Cultivate and close initial Marquee solution sales of the QwikCart™ product line including license, cart transaction, service and support
  • Contributes and assist in establishing the company sales policies, practices, objectives and initiatives
  • Works with Marketing to ensure communications and marketing programs are coordinated and support sales plan objectives are met
  • Assists in gathering market research and competitive analyses beyond NAM – West Region
  • Participates in business and financial issues on contracts including pricing products and managing margin
  • Develops and manages multi-channel selling strategies
  • Forecasts revenue by quarter
  • Company spokesperson for sales to grocery retailers, food retailers, partners and restaurants
  • Company leader


Job Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales and Marketing or related field
  • Professional Sales Training

  • Experience

    • Experience selling into the Fortune 500
    • Grocery and Food industry experience preferred
    • Preferred experience selling into one or more of the Drug, Hospitality, Convenience, Hardware, Pet product and specialty retail business sectors
    • Prefer experience selling within the NAM – Pacific North West
    • 4 - 6 years professional technology and software Sales experience
    • Experience forecasting and achieving quarterly sales quotas
    • Prefer experience selling solutions in, on-top of or around Point of Sale (POS) systems
    • Knowledge and experience selling product software to the Fortune 500
    • Preferred experience within an entrepreneurial and start up business
